Island Ring Road Tour
The Island Ring Road Tour is for the more relaxed adventurer that prefers to cruise around the island while the guide takes you to the main spots around Nauru accessible through the main road.
The word “PWEPOE” (Pe-Poe) is one of the first words that visitors to Nauru would have learnt and it means to go cruising around the island as a leisure activity and just go on a chill ride.
So why not learn some history and interesting facts while you are on your Pwepoi.

Phosphate Tour
This tour will take you to through the history of the early phosphate mining of Nauru. You will go through the chiseled archways which were used by the pacific phosphate company (PPC) in late 1905. PPC labourers would wheelbarrow phosphate rocks from topside to the coast. You will also make a quick stop to overlook “Location” where the labour workers settled.
Further in the tour, it will take you to the top to the command ridge, to see the Japanese war cannons, bunkers and an old and abandoned German communications centre.
